Teacher and Educational Consultant

English and primary teacher with 10+ years of leadership and 14 years of classroom experience with structuring, guiding and facilitating inquiry learning as a student-centered teaching approach. A specialist in Assessment and in Curriculum articulation, consulting IB, PENTA and LAHC schools in Latin America and overseas. Cecilia has been an academic coordinator at Craighouse School and is now an educational consultant for Seduc schools.

MÓNICA RODRÍGUEZ SALVO  Speaker and Writer

A graduate teacher of English and a Sworn Public translator. She holds apost- graduate degree in Human Resources Management and is a certifiedand accredited Neurolanguage Coach. Monica is also a Mindfulness practitioner graduated from the University of California (UCLA) and holds adiploma in Social and Emotional Learning from San Diego University. As a teacher trainer, she has delivered professional development courses on various topics. She specializes in Social and Emotional Learning and Mindfulness for Education. She currently runs her own Educational Institution, InspirED Consultora Educativa, reaching out to hundreds of students and teachers in Latin America. She has been implementing Social and Emotional Learning programs at educational institutions for the last 5 years. She is a tenured speaker, having presented extensively in more than10 countries. She has authored 3 Social and Emotional Learning sections and activities for different levels and books.

MIGUEL ÁNGEL DOMÍNGUEZ

English Teacher for YL

An EFL teacher. He specializes in TVYL with 8+ years of experience. Former coordinator at the We Learn Program for Fundación Oportunidad in Coquimbo Region. Since 2018, he has participated in initiatives by the British Council such as Teaching For Success Certificate Program "Teaching English to Young Learners" and the "Champion Teachers" project. In March2021, Mr. D was selected by the US Embassy to be part of the International Visitor Leadership Program.

LILIAN MONTALVÃO

English Teacher

An English teacher with more than 15 years of experience in teaching YL in Brazil. She
has worked as a teacher, coordinator, and consultant at English language institutes and K-12 schools. She holds a Master´s in Education. She has specialised in Early Years Education. She is a certified Positive Discipline Educator by the PDA International. She is currently an ELT author and teacher educator. She is a collaborator with Active English for Kids and aprofessor at AEB-UFMG, CPD course on Bilingual Education at the Federal University of Minas Gerais, Brazil.

JOAQUÍN TRIANDAFILIDE

ESL Neuroeducator

An English teacher, MA in Applied Linguistics and a Neuroeducator.
He is pursuing a doctoral degree in disabilities. He devotes most of his time to teacher training in Brain-friendly approaches and schools mentoring programs in Chile and Latin America. A member of Mind, Brain, and Education Think-Tank Team for the JALT (Japan Association of Language Teachers). A local promoter of the Brain Awareness Initiative as a Dana Foundation Partner in Latin America. He has recently launched a Diploma in Neuroscience and TESOL with the collaboration of Cambridge University Press in Chile.

MARÍA FRANCISCA KELLY

Founder of Bukku Education, English Teacher

An English teacher with more than 10 years of experience in Chile, Braziland Singapore. She has an MA in Applied Linguistics. She is an educational consultant for private and state schools. She is a collaborator for the SEDUC schools in Chile, a teacher trainer and has the three certifications of Positive Discipline by the PDA.
She is the Founding Director of BUKKU Educationand the author of more than 20 educational books for children. Speaker for the 2nd EFL YL Conference by the British Council, 4th version of Expanding Opportunities by Fundación Educacional Oportunidad, University of Dayton, Fundación SM and Books & Bits. She has worked as a volunteer for the design of lesson plans for rural schools in South East Asia and Latin America.
She has collaborated with the English Department of the Chilean Ministry of Education.
